“Hybride” came to life through the mutual work of Njagui HAGBE, a choreographer, and Brunos Dias, a virtuoso guitar player from the conservatory of Lausanne. It is an artistic collaboration between two very different universes, that is to say classical guitar and hip-hop dance. By working on the technical fusion of the academic traditional guitar and the swirling energy of house dance and hip-hop dance, the two artists explore the limitless possibilities that their mediums offer. This fusion of styles comes at the crossing of two worlds and progressively combines the “body sounds” and the “melody gesture”. It invites the audience to escape through looking and listening.
