TECHNICAL RIDER

“I always stay the same no matter what happens. The worst is when people want to convince me that I should be like every body else”. When he breaks, Junior doesn’t look human : whether he stays on his arms, rests on his elbows; does push-ups without touching the floor, or executes a “ninetynine” (a breaking power move), he performs his dance with strength and ease.  However, even if he is one of the ten best breakers of the world who knows where he is going, it is essential for him to know where he comes from. Junior performs an emotional solo in his first personal show, created in Kinshasa, by going back to his Zairian origins and his own story (with the complicity of Olivier Lefrançois, artistic direction). “Buanattitude” is also an initiatory journey that troubles the spectators by showing them the fantasy image of Africa on the one hand and its multiple realities on the other.
